
One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2016 was to get out of my workout comfort zone. I an avid runner and try to run at least 4-5 times a week but every once in a while I go through a period where I’m in a workout “rut” as I like to call it. Basically, I get bored and tired of running and therefore going to the gym starts to feel like a chore for me and that is the complete opposite of how I want to feel. I like the gym to be my “special time” where I can de-stress, zen out, and focus on me. I have realized that if I can incorporate different workouts or exercises into my daily routine I won’t feel this way. Part of trying new classes also gives me a great excuse to pick up some new workout gear. I sweat, like a ton, so for me I am all about finding workout gear that is lightweight, sweat proof, and fits my body well. There is nothing worse than wearing gear that you constantly have to adjust while working out. I’ve picked out a few of my tried and true favorites plus some new things I am thinking of adding to my workout wardrobe.
