Weekend in Nashville

As if I haven’t been traveling enough this past summer (4 places in six weeks) I am heading back out of town again this weekend to Nashville and could not be more excited! I went a few years back for my brother’s graduation from Vandy but this time will be a totally different experience because I’m reuniting with my sorority sisters! We have a jam packed weekend with lots of activities.

The girls and I are staying at the cutest AirBnB in The Gulch neighborhood which is the new up and coming ‘hood!  We have dinner reservations at this yummy Mexican place, a “fancier” dinner on Sunday and hopefully can squeeze in brunch here (heard amazing things!). We also plan on checking out this place for ice cream, this rooftop bar for drinks, and this awesome outdoor space for lunch. Did any of you guys watch the ABC show called Nashville? If so, you might remember the Blue Bird Café, well, turns out it was not just a fictional place on the show but a real place with live music! I definitely plan on hitting that up as I’m a sucker for country music.

The weather is supposed to be hot and humid (as to be expected) so I’m packing shorts, dresses, and lightweight tees and tanks. I just purchased this dress for the trip in addition to these new white jean shorts (on sale!). I’m also bringing my new backpack along for the trip which will be perfect for walking around and exploring.

Hope you have an awesome LDW 🙂
